Upon completion, you’ll be ready to pursue the Master of Psychology or jump straight into the workforce. The degree is fully accredited and meets the requirements for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, putting you on the path to becoming a registered psychologist.

The Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) is a one-year program and is the ideal next step toward becoming a registered psychologist or pursuing further studies.
 
The Honours program offers the opportunity to conduct a major research project in fields like psychopathology, behavioural neuroscience, cognitive science, forensic psychology, and social, personality, and developmental psychology, while developing a thesis with guidance from expert supervisors to gain valuable experience for further study or professional practice.
 
In addition to your research, you’ll complete advanced coursework in key areas such as the history of psychology, professional ethics, evidence-based practice, and contemporary issues in the field. This comprehensive education forms a strong foundation for pursuing a Master of Psychology or continuing your academic journey with a master’s by research or PhD.
 
As an accredited Level 2 program by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC), the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) satisfies the minimum requirement for provisional registration as a psychologist.
